Ruth Milne is a fully qualified Primary Teacher. She studied at Moray House College of Education, Edinburgh gaining her B.Ed. with an A pass during her final placement.
She worked in Edinburgh for three years before marrying and moving to Nottingham. As well as working in inner city schools, her most valuable experience was at St.Peter’s Junior School working with the well respected, Peter Cast. She was R.E. and Literacy Co-ordinator. It was during this time that Ruth developed her ideas of accelerated learning from her class experiences and external training in curriculum development.
In 2001 she moved to Geneva. In January 2003 she gained an A pass in her CELTA course allowing her to teach English as a foreign language.
Ruth has many interests. She enjoys skiing and is presently training for the Geneva Marathon in May.
